Absorbs UVA and UVB rays ranging from 280 to 400 nm, bemotrizinol (Tinosorb S) serves to prevent the formation of free radicals induced by UV radiation.
Step 2Reflects & Scatters UV radiation
Titanium dioxide is used to absorb UV radiation to protect the skin. Unlike other compounds used in sunscreens, which may absorb only a part of the UV radiation, titanium dioxide is extremely efficient at protecting against all aspects of UV light that can affect skin – absorbing and scattering both UVA and UVB rays.
Step 3Quick Absorption
Avobenzone, a noncomedogenic ingredient, gets quickly absorbed into the skin. It blocks UVA I, UVA II, and UVB wavelengths, thereby limiting the impact of UV rays on skin. It diminishes the penetration of ultraviolet (UV) light through the epidermis by absorbing UV radiation within a specific wavelength range. The amount and wavelength of UV radiation absorbed are affected by the molecular structure of the sunscreen agent.
