Skin is the largest organ of the body. Its main function is to protect the body from sunlight, dust, and infection. And who doesn't want great skin? Some prefer and can afford medical treatments for skin that benefit them in the long run. However, some do not prefer medical intervention and the concept of applying chemical products to better their skin. How to keep skin healthy and glowing naturally at home?

1. Lemon

Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C which helps to bleach and remove your tan. You can add sugar to this mix, in case you want to exfoliate your skin. Do this and clear, glowing skin will no longer be a dream.

How to use lemon for your skin

Take 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp sugar in a glass bowl. Apply the mixture to your skin and gently scrub for 2-3 minutes. Wash the skin with water. You can do this home remedies for skin once a week.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera gel is a relatively simple  home remedy for good skin. Its Gel has healing properties that help to rejuvenate the skin.

Aloe vera for glowing skin

Take 2 tsp of aloe vera gel, 1 tsp besan, 1 tsp olive oil for dry skin or 1 tsp rose water for oily skin. Apply as a mask on your face and keep it for 5 minutes. Wash your face with cold water. How many times should you be doing it? Just once a week!

3.Cucumber

Cucumber ph is similar to the ph of your skin. Therefore, it keeps the skin hydrated and nourished which gives you clear and glowing skin.

How to use cucumber for your skin

Take 100 ml of cucumber juice and add it in 200 ml of rose water or clean water. Mix them well together. You can store this solution in the spray bottle. Apply this spray on your face after removing your makeup. You can do this every day.

4. Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the spices which is easily available at every home. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties which can be used to reduce dullness. It's one of the natural skin treatments which helps you get glowing skin.

Procedure- using turmeric at home for your skin

Take 1 tsp of turmeric powder. Add 2 tsp of fresh cream, 2 tsp of besan, 2 tsp of milk. Make it into paste. Apply this paste on your whole body before hopping into the shower. This skin remedies can be used thrice a week in the winter season for clear glowing skin

5. Potato

The starch present in potatoes helps to reduce skin pigmentation, resulting in clean and glowing skin.

Potato home remedy for your skin

Squeeze out the water from the finely grated raw potato. Apply that under the eye or on dark pigmented patches. You can leave that overnight and rinse in the morning. You can follow this tip on a daily basis. Just don't forget to let us know the effects!
