Hair Packs For Specific Hair Conditions

No one can deny that our hair is a vital part of our identities. Wouldn’t you consider a solution to your hair related problems if the answers to it are sitting on your kitchen counter?

Hair Packs for Dry Hair

The hustled life in the city takes a major toll on your locks. The moisture from your hair is lost, leaving it to become extremely dry.

If you are suffering from dry hair, make a hair mask using avocado and aloe vera gel or olive oil and brown sugar. Another easy recipe is an egg hair mask. For this, you will need:

• 1 egg yolk

• 1 tablespoon castor oil

• 2 tablespoon honey

Give the ingredients a good mix, and your mask is ready.

Hair Packs for Damaged Hair

Honey is a nourishing element that helps tackle damaged hair, and coconut oil makes your hair soft and healthy. Therefore, you can make use of a honey and coconut oil mask to ensure smooth, lustrous hair.

Hair Packs for Frizzy Hair

Banana is the answer to frizzy hair problems.  All you need is a banana, yogurt, and honey. Blend these ingredients into a smooth paste and apply without worry!  Another recipe is banana and almond oil.  Mash the banana into a fine paste and add 2 tablespoons of almond oil.

Hair Packs for Dull Hair

If you have dull hair, use an aloe vera, yogurt, honey, and olive oil mask.  Coconut oil, argan oil, almond oil, and yogurt also do the trick. . Make sure you mix equal parts of each oil. The best measurement is 1 tablespoon of oil.  Add the yogurt only after you combine the oils.

Hair Packs for Oily Hair

Green tea, egg whites, lemon juice, or apple cider vinegar work best for oily hair. These ingredients provide moisture retention to your hair and make sure it is hydrated. This is especially great for the winter as hair becomes dry and brittle then.

Hair Packs for Thinning Hair

For healthy hair, regular oiling is necessary. You can use coconut oil or almond oil to prevent thinning hair.

Hair Packs for Dandruff

If dandruff has become a significant problem, you can use aloe vera gel, honey, apple cider vinegar or coconut oil, lemon juice, and honey.

Hair pack application and How to apply hair Packs

When it comes to hair pack application, the rule is straightforward. If your hair pack contains oil, then it is on dry hair; if the pack is not too runny (like a yogurt or banana mask), it can be applied on both dry and wet hair. However, if the mask is fluid (like a green tea mask), you must apply it after using a conditioner, ensuring it is the final rinse.

Steps involved after application

Upon application, let the mask sit for at least 30 minutes. To make sure it gets completely absorbed, you can use  plastic wrap. However, if you have used an oil hair mask, make sure you cover your head with a hot towel. For this, dip your towel in hot water, squeeze the excess water, and wrap it around your head. Once you feel the towel going cold, you can repeat the process. Finally, rinse it with lukewarm water.
