Meaning of Leucorrhoea
Leucorrhoea is the excessive white discharge that comes out through your vagina. In simple words, it is called vaginal discharge. It is prevalent and faced by many women regularly during ovulation, that is, the time before they have their periods.
It turns out to be alarming when it starts discharging in a huge amount, smells foul or fishy, becomes sticky, or causes pain in the lower abdomen and lower back. You should opt for treatment if you feel that the discharge is abnormal.
How do you know if it is Leucorrhoea? After two weeks of your menstruation, a change in the colour or amount of discharge accompanied by other symptoms like pain and itchiness may indicate that you have Leucorrhoea.
If the acid levels, pH, and hormones responsible for essential bacterial growth in the vagina observe any change, it may increase the risk of infection—Leucorrhoea or overgrowth of any normal bacteria.
